Welcome to ITMI (International Tour Management Institute). By accessing or using our website, enrolling in our programs, or participating in any ITMI training or related experiences, you agree to the following Terms of Use.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using this website or enrolling in any ITMI program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, you should not use this website or participate in ITMI programs.

2. Program Participation & Structure

ITMI provides training programs designed to prepare individuals for roles within the travel and tourism industry. Programs may include:

Online coursework

Certification programs

Optional experiential learning opportunities, including on-the-road training

ITMI reserves the right to update, modify, or restructure its programs, course content, delivery format, schedules, and associated experiences at any time to reflect industry standards, operational needs, or improvements to the learning experience.

3. Optional On-the-Road Experiences

Participation in any on-the-road or live tour experience is optional and subject to availability.

These experiences are designed as training-based participation opportunities within a live travel environment. Participants understand that they are joining an operating tour for educational purposes and not purchasing a retail travel product through ITMI.

Availability, scheduling, and participation are subject to program requirements, third-party operator capacity, and logistical considerations.

4. Third-Party Tour Operators

ITMI partners with independent third-party tour operators to provide on-the-road experiences.

ITMI does not own, operate, or control these third-party providers and is not responsible for:

Tour cancellations or delays

Changes to itineraries, accommodations, or schedules

Service quality or delivery

Acts or omissions of third-party providers

In the event of a cancellation or material change, ITMI will make reasonable efforts to assist in placing participants in an equal or comparable experience; however, identical arrangements cannot be guaranteed.

5. Pricing & Payment Terms

Program pricing varies based on selected components and timing of enrollment.

Certain programs may be offered as bundled packages, which may include both online training and on-the-road experiences at a combined rate.

Package pricing is only available at the time of initial enrollment and may not apply if program components are added later.

If an on-the-road experience or additional component is purchased separately at a later date, pricing will reflect current rates and availability and may be higher.

All pricing is subject to change without notice.

Payment terms, including any available payment plans, are provided during the enrollment process.

6. Travel & Personal Responsibility

Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements and related expenses unless otherwise explicitly stated. This includes, but is not limited to:

Airfare

Travel insurance

Passports, visas, and documentation

Personal expenses during travel

Participants are encouraged to obtain appropriate travel insurance and ensure they meet all travel requirements prior to participation.

7. Certification & Completion

Certification is awarded upon successful completion of program requirements, including coursework and any applicable evaluations.

ITMI reserves the right to withhold certification if program requirements are not met.

8. No Guarantee of Employment

ITMI provides training, industry knowledge, and professional development opportunities.
However, ITMI does not guarantee employment, job placement, or specific career outcomes.

Individual success depends on a variety of factors, including effort, experience, and market conditions.

9. User Conduct

By using this website and participating in ITMI programs, you agree not to:

Misuse of course materials or intellectual property

Disrupt program delivery or interfere with other participants

Provide false or misleading information

ITMI reserves the right to remove participants from programs for inappropriate conduct without refund, where applicable.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, course curriculum, and intellectual property provided by ITMI are owned by or licensed to ITMI and are protected by applicable laws.

Materials are provided for personal educational use only and may not be copied, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ITMI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or travel-related damages arising from:

Participation in ITMI programs

On-the-road or third-party experiences

Delays, cancellations, or changes beyond ITMI’s control

Personal injury, loss, or damage incurred during travel or participation

Participants assume responsibility for risks associated with travel and participation in live training environments.

12. Website Use & Information Accuracy

ITMI makes reasonable efforts to ensure that information on this website is accurate and up to date; however, we do not guarantee completeness or accuracy at all times.

Content may be updated or changed without notice.

13. Modifications to Terms

ITMI reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Continued use of the website or participation in programs constitutes acceptance of any changes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
