ITMI maintains contact with hundreds of tour companies seeking ITMI certified tour directors or tour guides and we assist in arranging interviews with prospective employers. Although experience is important, many tour companies recognize the value of professional training and hire tour directors based upon their capabilities, not their tenure. A travel carrer could be yours!
Whether you choose to work full-time or part-time, ITMI is for individuals who are interested in making a difference in the world, while sharing their passion for travel with others.
Periodic newsletters are e-mailed to all ITMI alumni keeping them informed about the latest travel job opportunities. Through close associations with one another on the ITMI Facebook page and at the Annual ITMI Symposium & Reunion, graduates also provide tips referrals for one another.
